Krishna C. Mummadi is a graduate student in Geographic Information Systems (GIS) at the University of Maryland Baltimore County. His interests include geospatial analysis, Earth observation, and remote sensing, with a focus on using computational tools in social and environmental research. Krishna joined the Center for Social Science Scholarship (CS3) in September 2025 as a Graduate Research Assistant. His work includes developing workshop materials and case studies on prompt engineering and large language models (LLMs), building analytical workflows, and writing R code for text and image analysis in social science applications. He has experience working with spatial data, satellite imagery, and reproducible research tools. He will present a workshop on geospatial analysis using LLMs in March 2026.
