Learn about Data Visualization
Featuring Zoë McLaren, Associate Professor of Public Policy. The first hour (lecture format) will cover the main principles of effective data visualization. It will provide concrete and easy-to-implement suggestions for improving the design of figures and tables to present more data more clearly. The second hour (drop-in format) will give participants a chance to individually workshop figures and tables with the instructor. You don’t need to attend the first hour to come to the drop-in session.
This event is open to faculty, staff, graduate students, and undergraduate students. You don’t need to attend the first hour to come to the drop-in session. No technical experience is necessary.
