Description
DoIT, in collaboration with UMBC's Center for Social Science Scholarship will be hosting Maryland's Director of Business Intelligence, Patrick McLoughlin for a workshop to gain access to and familiarity with the State's Open Data Portal. The purpose of this two-hour session is to develop user's competence and self-sufficiency leveraging these data for potential research or development projects.
There is a 25 person maximum for this session, and lunch will be provided. Please note any dietary restrictions to Tom Penniston by close of business Tuesday, March 3. Participants should be sure to bring a fully-charged laptop to the session, but we will also plan to have some Chromebooks on hand as back-up.
